Thank you cards

I've been busy making some thank you cards, here's a couple of them to show you.

The first is using the Everything Eleanor stamp set, beautiful butterflies die and En Francais large stamp.

The second one is using the Everyday Enchantment papers, scallop ribbon boarder punch, bird builder punch, swirl stamp from Everything Eleanor stamp set and thank you from the curly cute stamp set.
If you like the Everyday Enchantment papers then pop back on 1st July, as Stampin up have a special offer for you, these papers will be available to buy and there's a free gift if you spend £45 that co-ordinates with these papers. I'll tell you more on the 1st.

Party Season

It's party season for us, lots and lots of birthdays and party invites for my kids.
We've had two parties this weekend, one on Tuesday and three for next weekend!! One of them next weekend is my sons birthday party.....it's crazy.
I'll show you the invites I made for him next week.

Here's three of the boys birthday cards I've made over the last few days:

These two are very similar using the need for speed stamp set and SU designer series paper packs.

This last one is using the Make a Monster and Pennant Parade stamp set. I've also used a SU wheel for the background, but this was retired in the last catalogue.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting.

Latest class makes

I had a wonderful weekend. It had a bit of a shaky start after we had a plumbing problem, but we finally made it on the way to N. Linclonshire. I held another class on the Saturday with my Mum, this time we had a special lady join us, my upline Roz. We also had her hubby Steve and Mindy visit too. Roz saved the day by bringing some craft things that I managed to leave at home in the rush.....thanks Roz x

It was fatastic to catch up and have a good chat. They stayed for the day, so lots of crafting chatter, Steve played the guitar for us all and we got licks from Mindy, the biggest lick was saved for my eldest son Liam who had his glasses cleaned by Mindy.......lol

We did do some crafting during the class too.

This first card we made is one that I've already blogged about as I also taught it at the last Carterton class. It was demonstrating the baby wipe technique. Where a baby wipe becomes the ink pad by using drops of re-inkers on the baby wipe.

The other two cards were designed by my Mum

This card uses stamps from the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set. There's a bit of well worn paper on the card and some sweet butterflies from the beautiful wings embosslit die to decorate.

This is the final card using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set. The trees were stamped onto acetate using Staz on ink. Well worn papers have been used again as well as paper from the ds brights paper stack. The Stampin write markers were used for the grass and the sun.

.
The next class in Messingham will be on the 7th July (3D class) and in the August class we'll be back to making cards again.

Cheeky monkey

I saw the most adorable monkey card on Monica's blog and just had to have a go at making something similar.
I made one for my Godson who was two last week and then I made a pink version too.

I used the monkey (in chocolate chip ink) from the fox and friends stamp set and the leaves from the bird builder punch. Other punches that I also used are the itty bitty punches for the flowers, 3/4" circle, 1" circle, scallop edge circle.

For the 'boy' version I used cardstock in crumb cake, wistera wonder and baja breeze.

For the 'girl' version I used pretty in pink, wistera wondon and crumb cake cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by,

Fathers Day card and bag

Hope all the Daddy's got spoilt today. I actually saw my Dad for the first time in 3 or 4 years on Fathers day, only for a couple of hours though!! We were visiting my parents for the weekend, but they had go out in the morning for a bowling gala and we had to get back to sort out a leaking toilet!! Still at least we got to see him. My hubby got spoilt too, the kids had each made him about 3 cards.
So here's what I made for my Dad. He loves owls so the Stampin up owl punch was perfect. He also has an obsession with bags so I made him a cute man bag with a card, toffee and a gift voucher inside.

For the bag I used cardstock in crumb cake, not quite navy and riding hood red (I think, I've given it to him now, so I can't check!!) and the SU well worn papers. To make the owl I used the owl builder punch and scallop circle punch.

For the card I used the same cardstock and ds papers, adding some blue demin jean ribbon.  To add the eyelets on the bag and card I used the crop-a-dile.

I was really happy as he loved the things that I made and the gifts inside.

Happy crafting.

Workshop fun.....

Photo: Had a great stampin up party with sharon sanderson, becca, denise and kayleigh. Lana loved it too!

I held a workshop last week so I thought you may like to see what we got up to. The hostess took a picture which I hope she wont mind me sharing with you. You can see me in 'action' on the right.

As well as the adults we had two young crafters join us who had fun making some owl bookmarks after we'd made our projects. It was such a great evening, some of the guests went away with prizes that they won and each took home the card they made, which they all did a great job of.

Here are the door prizes the ladies won.

The project that we made using the mixed bunch stamp set and blossom punch. We also used the bird builder punch, 1" circle punch and modern label punch. The ink used was Daffodil delight and old olive and we used old olive and melon mambo card stock. The melon mambo card was embossed using the square lattice embossing folder

I also showed a glammed up version, for first time stampers I kept the make and take simple, by adding another layer and extra embellishments I showed how it could create a different look.

We was also celebrating one of the ladies birthday, so I made her a card using the owl builder punch.

I realised that I never took a photo of the project that I demonstrated!! It was using the up, up and away stamp set. If you would like to see the project and the card holder that I gave to my hostess as a thank you why not get in touch and book your own workshop.
There's a great Stampin Up offer on until the end of July, if you reach workshop sales of £300 the hostess get an extra £30 of free project to spend as you wish.
To book a workshop you can find my details in the contact me tab at the top of the page.

Happy stamping.
