Thank you notelet cards

Happy Christmas all. I hope everyone had a great time. I've had a few days off crafting as no time to fit it in. Yesterday though I did get my boys to write thank you cards for a few relatives and school teachers. We used cherry cobbler card stock and ink and a new SU stamp. The stamp isn't out yet, but is part of a stamp set you can earn for free during sale-a-Bration that starts Jan 22nd. Keep an eye out for more details on the 22nd.

I think they did a great job, my youngest is only just learning to write, so it's the first year he's wrote them himself.
I'm now planning my January classes on Jan 3rd and 10th in Carterton, if you'd like to book a place please get in contact ASAP.

Last minute Christmas makes

Evening all. I hope everyone is ready for Christmas. What a crazy busy time, but I think I can finally say that I'm ready. Presents wrapped, food bought and house cleaned ready for my parents arriving this evening. Even cleaned the oven!!

I thought I'd share with you my latest crafting makes from last night. I had one christmas card left to make and a couple of ornaments.

These are the ornaments, both used Stampin Up designer series paper; be of good cheer, the snowflake die, glitter brads, tulle and twine.

My last Christmas card for this year was also made with the 'be of good cheer' ds paper. I also used the wacky wishes hostess stamp set, for the sentiment, and owl occasions stamp set. I've used cherry cobbler card, certainly celery, rose red, riding hood red and soft suede ink and finally some of the Stampin write markers in real red, pretty in pink and crumb cake.

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and huge thanks for those you follow my blog and have come along to classes or bought from me this year.

Christmas gift wallets

Back to Christmas makes again.
Here's some Christmas gift wallets I've made for my niece, nephews and FIL.

I used the Be of good cheer designer series paper, punches, morning post stamp set for the letters, a stamp from the tags till Christmas set for the middle of my FIL's wallet and a greeting from the curly cute stamp set to decorate the inside.

I used the word window punch to create the pocket that will be used to hold the money/gift card.

I'm now just deciding if I should put them in an envelope or just hand them like they are as I love how they look. The belly band keeps them closed anyway.

Happy Stamping.

Birthday Card and decorated Jar

Hello everyone, well I've been a busy bee with my craft fairs. The last one was dissapointing with only 15 people through the door!! Oh well, the things I made will not go to waste.
I've had a break from Christmas cards even though I'm not done yet as I needed to make my Mums birthday card and I also decorated a jar for her that I have filled with gems.

I used some of my new stamps sets including serene sihouettes, paillion potpourri (for the butterfly on the jar) and morning post (for the W)

I've used lots of other things too including the lattice embossing folder, antique brads, lace, butterfly embosslits and lots of punches.

I hope my Mum likes it. I'll find out on Friday when I see her.

Happy Stamping.

Latest craft fair

Just a quick post to say hello. I had another craft fair on Saturday at Carterton community center. Thanks for everyone that came. It was embrassing though as I had lost my voice!! I had to whisper the whole time. My voice is a little better today, but not much. Anyway I had a good time and my two little helpers, my young kids, Liam and Owen enjoyed it too. So much so that they came home and played shops/craft fairs before bedtime.

This months craft classes start on Wednesday, we'll be making the ornament (which is a few posts below). I've still got two places for this week is anyone wanted to join us.

Then Saturday is my last Christmas craft fair. This time it's in Oxford and is to raise money for Macmillian nurses, so a great cause. There's more details in the craft fairs tab.

Happy crafting.

Busy, busy, busy....

Things have been so busy since the last craft fair. I spend a wonderful day on Saturday crafting at a local crop I go to and I've been busy getting ready for my next craft fair on Saturday at Carterton community center.

Here's a couple of photos of what I've been up to:

I made some angry bird boxes at the crop I went too. One each for my two boys. I got the idea whilst looking though pintrest, I just love that site. Here's the orginal boxes
I used the fancy favour box, cirle punches and blossom punch.

Here's another card using one of my new stamp sets. It's called bootiful occassions and is a set of four boot stamps. The paper used is from a retired SU ds pack.

Anyway back to making more stock for the craft fair.

Brize Norton Pre-school Christmas Fair

I had a great time last night at my first of three craft fairs I'm doing this Christmas.
This one was at Brize Norton Pre-school ladies christmas shopping evening

Thanks to everyone that came and made the evening so enjoyable. My reindeer dust went down well, so much so that I've just ordered another batch of test tubes to put the reindust in, they should last me through the rest of the craft fairs.

I've put a photo up of my stall, it was taken on my phone so not the best of quality.
If anyone that went to the event that wants to order anything else, or wants to book onto a class etc. then please get in touch.
Also you can find me on my FB page here

Christmas craft class makes

Hello all, as well as been busy with making things for craft fairs I've also been running my usual card classes. Here's the makes from the classes in Carterton. We had a Christmas theme and made 3 cards and a little bag using the petite purse die.
Thanks to all the ladies that came, they are getting more and more popular and for the first time I had to turn people away. So let me know if you want to book a place for December classes before they all go.
Here's the full collection of projects.
The first card we embossed the background and then stamped on the front panel in bara breesze and added a sentiment, jewels and snowflakes from the SU snowflakes die.
Sorry for the very very poor photo, I didn't realised it was so bad until I uploaded it. If you squint you may be able to tell it's the new Christmas deer stamp and the sheen to the background is becuase it's spritzed with platinum silver ink.
Here's the little purse we make using the petite purse die, the paper is from the festival of prints paper pack. I've added a flower using the boho blossoms punch and a little tag to the handle held on with the new SU twine.
Finally my favourite card decorated a Christmas owl made using the owl punch, pennant punch and itty bitty punch.

If you'd like to place an order or want any more information about the products used please get in contact.

This is what we'll be making at the December craft classes, although using designer series paper rather than stamps. Otherwise the class would go on for hours and hours!!

I've made this to sell at the craft fairs, you can find details of these and the December classes in the tabs above.

I made some cute santa owl bookmarks using the owl builder punch again.

And my favouriate....some candy cane santa's using lots of SU punches and some of the new stitched ribbon.

I'm just about to made a page with details of the craft fairs I'll have a stall at, please pop along and say hello.

I used the everything eleanor stamp set and made an easel card. You can't tell from the photos very well, but there's embossing on the card and glitter as well, I've used rose red and crumb cake card stock and crumb cake seam binding ribbon all from Stampin up.

Thanks for looking, I hope to be back next week with some Christmas gifts and cards that I'm busy making for some craft fairs I'm doing.

StampinUp Birdhouse

Here's a another birdhouse that I made to order for a friends sister. I used all SU card and paper and the bird builder and tiny tag punch for the decoration. I've had a go at making a larger Christmas birdhouse, not quite happy with the proportions of it yet, but I'll put up a picture when I'm done.

Don't forget to let me know if anyone would like to join in next months craft classes in Carterton (Oxon) or Messingham (N. Lincs).

Also Stampin Up still have a fabuous offer  on for those who sign up, a free pack of paper every month for 6 months, there's more details about this in the promotions tab at the top.

Happy crafting.

80th Birthday Card

I was asked to make an 80th birthday card with 'sister' on it. The only thing I had to go on was that she likes flowers. This is what I came up with.

I just hope the lady likes pink and purple.

I've used the apothecary art stamp set and matching framelits dies and beautiful butterflies emboslit die.  The ds paper is berry blossoms paper and the cardstock used is rose red and wistera wonder.
If there's anything that you'd like to order or to book a place on my upcoming classes please get in touch.
Thanks for stopping by.

She's running 6 weeks of classes to be held in Scotter, North Lincolnshire, if you'd like to book a place or find out more details you can contact Debbie directly by e-mail: debbie@poplargrovefarm.co.uk.

Debbie kindly let me show you one of the cards she'll be teaching at her first class. I'm sure you'll agree that it's very pretty, I just love the colours and those cute penguin stamps from the Stampin Up polar party stamp set.

I'm sure the classes will be a big hit and wish Debbie lots of luck for Saturday, not that she'll need it.

Makes from Messighams craft class

Morning all, today I have cards to show you from this month class in Messingham. This is the class that I teach with my Mum at her home. We have a great bunch of ladies that come and always have a laugh. My downline also comes to the class and is taking the plunge on Saturday and holding her first class on Saturday in Scotter, N. Lincs. I'll post more details later this week.

So these are the cards that we made this month. The first is one I designed using Betsys bloom stamp set and papers that match.

These next two are the ones my Mum taught, she decided to go with a Christmas theme.
The first uses the scentsational stamp set and dies and festival of prints paper stack.

For the second card she used a retired roller for the background. Daubers were used to create the spotty layer topped off with a bauble from the tags till Christmas set which was punched out with the matching ornament punch. There's also some of the new cherry cobbler twine on the card and a non-SU sentiment.

Next month will be all Christmas projects and in December we'll be making the ornament on the front on the mini catalogue at the request of the ladies that come to the classes. For more details or to book a place please get in touch.

This months craft classes

Another month of classes are over, so I thought I'd show you what we made at my classes at home this month.

These first two cards I've showed on my blog before as part of the ILWS blog hop.
They are using papers and stamps from the Betsy's blooms range.

This is the halloween box we made using stamps from the mixed medley hostess stamp set. I've added some crystal effects on the web to give the effect of rain drops.

The final project was a Christmas card using the owl occasions stamp set from the autumn/winter SU catalogue. We've some of the new stitched ribbon and some paper from the festival of prints paper stack.

I'll show you our makes from yesterdays class in Messingham later this week.

Gingerbread man, scentsational season wallhanging

Look what my clever Mum made.
A Christmas wallhanging using the cute gingerbread man from the SU scentsational season set and matching dies.
She put bondaweb onto the back of plain fabric and stamped and cut out the gingerbread men. She then ironed them onto some backing fabric and some stitching and a few hours later this is what she made.

Very sweet, she said I could put it on my blog to show a different way that stamps can be used.

Owl Anniversary Card

Today I have a card to show you that I made a few weeks ago for my upline, Roz and her hubby,

I used the Owl occasions stamp set form the A/W mini catty

I used daubers and ink to create the background before stamping the cute little owls on. The hearts are punched from my Owl builder punch.
